arent female bettas suppose to be able to get along together ?

i had two together and one picked on the other one so i had no choice to seperate them.

thanks =)

They can be kept together in some cases. Female bettas are still territorial and will fight. When putting females together, you should keep at least 4-6 females together to spread out the aggression and make sure that there are a lot of hiding places for the weaker fish to get some alone time.

ohh alright.
i was thinking about breeding a female with this gorgeous male i bought a few weeks ago. But im not sure.. :fun:

Well since the're situated in there tanks i'll just leave them happy and content. Why stress them =)

and even if you buy 4-6, it doesn't guarantee they will be peaceful and civil.

i had lots of fin nipping and i was worried for a couple of weeks.

i had to take some out, heal them up and then move things around when i re-introduced them.

it took close to 3 weeks for them to finally work things out. but it wasn't a very carefree time leading up to what i have now.

****

i am just happy that they are no longer causing me such stress and getting all along.
