female bettas fins stuck together.

hi ive had this betta for nearlly a year now but ive just got home from a caravaning holiday and found that all her fins are stuck together and shes floating on the top but still alive whats wrong with her, i dont want her to die

I dont know what's wrong, but we've had a similar problem with one of our girls. It's been weeks but she seems to be healing and swimming more strongly.
Someone here suggested she may have been nipped and the fins healed up weird.

how long did you leave her for and was there someone to look after her. the size of tank and filtration too. if its been for a week, then maybe the ammonia level has risen and she might be better with clean water?
