i have a male betta and a new, kinda small, female can they tank together
if not can i put the female in with other fish

don't put them together as they could kill each other. male and female bettas should only be put together for breeding, and even that needs to be done properly.

females can generally live with most community fish, although it does depend on the temperament of the individual. if you decide to get more females in the future be sure to get 3 or more extra ones, as females can be kept together, but you need at least 4 to spread the aggression amongst them out.
