Greetings all -

I have appreciated the help/information I've received from this forum a great deal!
Thank you.

So here's the deal:

I have a 30g tank with four convict cichlids - three females and one male.
Right now the females are SERIOUSLY trying to woo Mr. Convict. Would it
help if I added another male cichlid to help spread the love around?
Can I have more than one male convict in the same aquarium?

Thank you so much for your help.

um way to many convicts .. best leave at 1 male but still might lose some females since such a small tank

I would only go with one pair. Once a pair is made I would definitely get rid of the other two females. One pair in a 30 gallon is a nice set up, but have lots of hiding places for the female and fry.

yup one pair only. once they pair up and start breeding, they get very very territorial and highly agressive. tis definitely best IMHO to keep a single pair together
