when humans give birth it causes pain...does it cause pain for livebearing fish?

giving birth doesnt cause pain, it blooming hurts like hell especially if you tear!!!




nah to be honest giving birth doesnt hurt, i was brave and did it without pain relief!


should imagine it would be uncomfortable giving birth to so many though.

Most mammals have some amount of labor stress, and I assume livebearing fish are similar, but humans get a worse deal of pain than most - our newborns are fairly large relative to the mother's size, and have a very large head, which is the hardest part to pass through the birth canal.

My platys definitely seem stressed during birth, but the size of their fry relative to the mother is still pretty small, so I doubt they have labor pain as bad as humans.
