I'm starting to get a guage on how much food to feed my mid/top swimmers (guppys and danios) but the corys, otos, and pleco elude me.

I have sinking wafers and Algae tabs for them, but I'm not sure how much to put in.

It says what your fish can eat in 3 minutes, well, even with all the corys on one sinking wafer they can't eat a single tab in 3 minutes. :/

Personally, I feed all fishes flakes and pelletes (New Life Spectrum). They sink to the bottom when they hit the "waterfall" area of the power filter. You can tell the cories find them since as soon as I put some flakes or pelletes into the tank, they all become very active - they never fail to do this. You will also notice that they pause once in a while then continue. This is when they find something to chew on.

Other than this, I feed shrimp pelletes once a week and algae wafers once a week. Of course, cories find both of these relatively easily.

Cories now lived for about 1.5 years and they are healthy... ;)

Right now I'm varieting between Wardley's Tropical Flakes and TetraColor Tropical Flakes for Flake Food. About every other day I give them either Freeze Dried Brine Shrimp or Freeze Dried Tubifex worms.

I also have Algae Wafers and Cory Wafers for them, but I'm unsure the correct amount and don't want to overfeed. :/

Is this your 55g? If that's the case, just put a few and see what happens. When I put shrimp/algae wafers, just about all species in the tank crowd around the food. Even neons and rasboras come and feed on them. In 30mins, they are completely gone so I know it will not foul water...

just break a wafer into little pieces and put some pieces in the tank. see how long it takes them to be eaten and if you feel that the fish need more, put a tiny bit more in
