'Ello!

I haven endler fry (about 40) that are between newborn and 1 1/2 months old, how often should I be feeding them?
Like 4-6 times a day? or more? Less?

EDIT:
They were in my dad's tank, but he only fed his fish twice daily, so the babies are still kinda small,
I put them in my 10 gallon, then when their about 1 inch or so I'm gonna sell them, that's why I'm wondering how often to feed, so they can get the proper nutrition and growth! :)

I have a 10 gal fry tank and I feed mine two times a day I crush flakes and dump a few in. I have molly fry, platy fry, and guppy fry. They seem to be doing well on that feeding schedule (i'm planning on selling mine too when they get older.

Fry should be fed between 3-6 times a day, crushed flake, crushed pellets, crushed protien foods, and after a few weeks, (depending on your bloodworm) you can give them bloodworm, the bloodworm i get are really tiny and thin and the fry can eat them no probs... another thing you can do is gt frozen bloodworms, daphnia, brineshrimp and grate a tiny bit of it and add it to the fry tank.

Only feed live and frozen foods as a treat though.

Waterchanges also promotes growth.

Okay! So if I do a water change 2 times a week, will that be ok? I also have 3 adult platies in there, the water change won't hurt them right? (if I do it twice a week) I usually just do a 15% or so water change,.. :good:

Kay! :)

That's good to hear! I'm not sure if you read my other post, but my two female platys are pregnant too, so I guess some feeding a couple times a day with the fry won't hurt em, (just make sure they don't get too big!) lol
My male platy and two females don't even bother the endler fry, I thought for sure some would get eaten, but I see them swimming right in front of the platies, and they don't even try to eat 'em! :p
