I have six Trilineatus corys in a tank with twenty two small tetras that i got on Sunday. I have been feeding Tetra Pro for the tetras and Tetra Prima (what the shop was using and advised) for the corys. The corys seem to be doing great but i'm concerned that they will not be getting sufficient food as the Prima is slow to reach the bottom and seems to be all eaten by the tetras feeding frenzy before it reaches the bottom. Should i give the corys something else like Tetra Tabimin which looks like it is bigger and should sink to the bottom quicker, and if so how many per day. I also bought frozen Bloodworm, Daphnia and Brine Shrimp, giving them one cube of Bloodworm yesterday. It seemed a lot but it was gone in less than five minutes. Is one cube too much/about right, and how often should i feed either one of the frozen foods. Sorry it's a bit long but want to do right by the fish, thanks in advance for any advice, Alan.

Hi alan3513,

Adding a few sinking pellets at feeding time are probly going to help your corys get more of the food they deserve.
There are various ones on the market.I feed mine different ones, not all at the same time but rota them.

King British- Catfish pellet food
Hikari Tropical- Sinking Wafers
Hikari Tropical- Crab Cuisine ( i've used these to try an add some calcium for the apple snails, but the corys love them )
Tetra Prima- Mini Granules

and every now and then thawed out frooze blood worm.
