i just dont want to be over feeding

Sort of a standard is, as much as they can eat in 5 minutes or so, but as you said, you can't really see. I feed my fish twice a day, morning and evening. They get a pinch of flake, two pinches of defrosted bloodworms and an algae wafer. They also get a piece of cucumber or zucchini, 2 or 3 times a week, peas occasionaly and nothing on Sunday.

I don't know how big your "bloodworm nuggets" are, but if they're anything like mine (2x1x1cm) then it's probably too much. A fishes eye is about the same size as it's stomach (or so I've read!), pretty small, they don't need an awful lot of food.

Hope this helps you a little.
