Feeding Worms, Veggies, etc.

How often should I feed my little fishies "extras" such as bloodworms, tubifix worms, and vegetables? Should I give them a different one daily? Each one once a week? My Plec, especially, loves zucchini! They all like the worms (both kinds) and somebody liked the lettuce I put in there.

Unless you are feeding your fish a special diet, for example, to condition them for breeding, or if they are vegetarian by nature, the important thing to remember is balance.

Fish that are omnivores need some meat, veggies and flakes or similar food. If you don't feed everything every day, it's ok, as long as it works out in the long run.

Just tell them they can't have desert if they don't eat their veggies!
