Here's what I feed and who eats it...

Flake- Angels, Dwarf Gourami, Tetras, Barbs and sometimes Kribs.
Bloodworm- Angels, DG, Tetras, Barbs, Corys, Kribs & Bolivian Rams
Live Food- All except the glass suckers
Cucumber- Kribs, Bolivians
Peas- All except glass suckers
Spinach- None :(
Wafers- Corys, Kribs and DG.
Pellets- Angels, Kribs

Ok so now questions...

1. Everyone says that otos etc. can't just live off the little bit of algae in the tank but they won't eat any other veg so what do I do?

2. Are my Bolivians getting an ok diet even though they won't eat any flake or pellets?

3. Am I feeding the right foods for the fish I've got.

4. I got a new angelfish on Monday and he's barely eaten. It's like he's scared to go near food if any other fish is by it even the neons and he's the biggest fish in my tank!! Each time he does go to eat if any fish swims anywhere near him he stops. Since Monday he's had 1 brine shrimp :/ Why is he taking so long to settle in? or could there be another reason for him not eating? He seems fine in every other way! Is there anything i can do to help? Even if i put food right next to him he still takes so long that another fish will come along and then he swims off

Advice appreciated! :good:

I'm not sure about the other questions but i can answer this one!

You should be able to buy sinking Alage tablets. I have some of these for my shrimp but they should be perfect for alage eating fish plecs and ottos.

Ottos will eat algae wafers, cucumbers, zucchini, lettuce. They will live on the algae but I feed mine the foods I mentioned.

Well the ramd will live off them but keep offering a staple diet, hopefully they will eventually eat it.
Yes, all the foods you are feeding are great. Variety is the key to keeping them nice and healthy and you have enough variety. Some more foods they will enjoy are krill, lettuce, shrimp puffs maybe some frozen foods.

Your angelfish is probably just adjusting to his new environment. It may take him a bit longer to settle in.

What are your water parameters?
Do you see any ick on him, white grain like specs.
Is he flashing at all? Rubbing on rocks.
Any red like streak on him?
Is he sitting on the bottom of the tank?

Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 30 (tap water=40)

Absolutely no signs of anything. He seems perfectly happy it's just literally as if he's scared to eat. I've just never had a fish take this long to settle in!

As for the otos they just wont eat anything i offer (even wafers) I guess if they were really hungry though they would. I do let my algae grow so they have plenty of that.

Thanks!
