I am planning on getting several guppies and mollies for my ten gallon tank.
For food, I think I'm going to feed flake food and algae wafers. But to give them some variety, I know its recommended to feed some daphnea or frozen bloodworms. In place of this, could I feed them very small mealworms or lobster roaches? (I breed both of these insects to feed to my other pets). Also, what about pinhead crickets, which I get once in a while? Thanks :)

I'm pretty sure that the fish would not eat the crickets or the roaches, but you could try the mealworms. I don't know a lot about them but maybe someone who does will come and give you some better advice. :D

my gf fed her guppy fry finely crushed flakes and when they got a little bigger they got freeze-dried bloodworms .. its funny watching a little fish like that try and rip apart a bloodworm
