Hi Everyone
I am having some feeding issues with my wild angels - they turn their snouts away from flake food and are really not that keen on beef-heart like the other angels. They will eat bloodworm and if pressed brine-shrimp. When I first put them in that tank, they used to enjoy preying on the original inhabitants (mollies and guppies) - well they decimated my guppy population from 6 to 2 overnight - and would seemingly tolerate the mollies - till one ended up gutted... This sort of has me thinking that maybe they fancy live food? I read the mini-FAQ on feeder fish in the Oddball section and had a couple of questions. I have mollies and have access to endler's (technically I have access to their potential fry)
1) it says to be diverse with food - would feeding the angels two kinds of fry work? or did they mean something else? Can I feed fry to the discus? They will eat nearly anything that goes in their mouth for breakfast
2) How often do I need to feed the angels? They are p. leopoldi and the problem is I don't kno how old they are - my 6 month old marble angels are larger than them - but they lived with discus for the first 4 months of their lives and ate a LOT (they are twice the size of their siblings in another tank)
Thanks in advance.
