Feeding Problem

my zebra danios eat all the flakes i feed, and my other fish that dont go for the food at the top get nothin....wat should i do? btw wat type of food should i feed flying foxes?

that's a common problem, danio's are greedy and steal all the food.

you should feed a variety of the following foods - flake, pellets, live food (bloodworm, brine shrimp etc), frozen food, veggies, algae wafers, catfish pellets.

stuff like tetra prima is a great sinking food, so you can put some in at the same time as some flake, the danio's will scoff the flake from the top and the rest get the tetra prima.

you can also try puttng a pinch of food at one end of the tank, the danio's go to get that, then drop some in the other side and everyone else gets it.

if your fish are really shy and won't go for stuff like the sinking food, then get frozen food like bloodworm, dissolve them in a jug with some tank water, suck some up in a pipette, put your hand in the tank near the fish who's not eating and squirt the food out right infront of it. it will take a few goes before they get used to you being near them and stop running off but they soon get used to it so persevere!
