Feeding Peas?

I know I'm a n00blett. But I've heard some people around here feed peas to their beta? Would it be frozen, fresh, canned...? I don't know. I just want to keep my fish happy. Little help?
you pop the pea in some boiling water for a few secs, take it out....remove the shell and squash it in your fingers and feed :) mine had some last night

peas are good at stopping them getting constipation and swim bladder problems :) :good:

With three children in the house there are often leftover peas at meal times which I then shell and squidge for my endlers and guppies. (Obviously I don't use the ones with ketchup left on). They absolutely love them :good: They are also good for fry as they break up nicely into small bitesize pieces....

I feed mine every couple of days on peas. I pop them out of the shells in 2 halves and drop them in the tank they go mental for them. I tryed mixed veg but they were not interested lol.

my boys have peas at the weekend. I also gave one to my green spotted puffer tonight without squishing it first he chased it round the tank and then gobbed it up...and 2 to my fancy goldfish who are such wimps I had to fish the peas back out and squish them! :shout:
