Do you think it would be ok for me to take worms out of my garden, wash them, and then put them in my tank for my oscars to munch on?

it's ok as long as there are no pesticides being used in the garden, and also cut them up into quarters so it's easier for your osacr to eat :)

If your thinking of doing this on a regular basis itmay well be worth setting up a worm farm in the garden, that way you know exactly where they come from and they will be easier to find and also eat your food waste!!! :)

both the above are good suggestions/ advice .

Earth worms are an excellent food , remember to vary your oscars diet with prepared food as well .
