i've had my betta now for almost 10 dayss and all hes eaten since then is 2 pellets of hikari betta food on the 2nd day, hes in a 2.7 gal heated tank so hes got lots of space to swim around... every day i try to give him one but he turns his little nose to it like hes some sort of king . so im off to get him some frozen brine shrimp and frozen bloodworms tommarow morning hopeing to kick start his little appitite a bit, if he continues to shun the pellets would it be harmful for him to eat only frozen food? if that happens i was thinkng id have to create a feeding schedule like once every 3 days or something...

thanks for the help

just frozen foods would be fine :good: all my fish really really like krill

bettas are carnivores so frozen food (insect larvae and shrimps) is actually the best diet for them, that's what they eat in the wild

alright thanks; i just wasnt sure if it would cause constipation or other problems being how there so rich. hopefully he likes those or else hes gonna have to starve.
