Feeding My New Fish

I have just bought 5 black neons today (sunday) they are my first fish. The flakes to feed them with look rather large, do I need to make them smaller? as the mouths of the fish look quite smal. They are quite active, but should I feed them tomorrow (monday).

Are you using them to cycle the tank, as they are not a cycling fish.
Need a varied diet of frozen foods and veg as well, but if you are cycling i wouldn't feed them the frozen or veg just yet.

I break my flakes up a bit when I have smaller fish; this also helps to make sure that the most powerful ones don't snatch it all.

Yep, I break mine up too, crush them between my fingers as I drop them in the tank.
