Feeding My Lionfish

i have a black volitan lionfish, he is still pretty young, maby 2 inches from head to tail. i just wondered if i feed him live shrimp, how often should he be eating these? and in between should i be feeding him something else? i have had him for about 3 weeks now and have yet to actually see him eat anything, i have put krill in there and he wont even touch it. i am assuming he has been living off of the frozen brine shrimp i put in there but i feel like that is not enough food for him. thanx to anyone who can help me.

They don't need to eat every day. If you're feeding him feeder shrimp, 2 or 3 every other day is perfectly fine for him. Note that, however, the shrimp will not be very nutritional unless they are gutloaded.
