Feeding my classroom tank

I'm just about to buy a 10 gal tank for my classroom and am going to get guppies and corrys. How should I feed the fish everyday? Especially during the holidays! What about when I can't get to or get into the school. Would it be the best idea to take them home over the summer holidays or leave them at school and keep visiting?

You could buy an automatic fish feeder which would reduce the number of times you would have to bob in and out of the school during holidays.

The automatic feeder is good for holidays, but the weekends you don't need to worry about it. I certainly recommend bringing the tank home in the summer so you can give it the proper care - just pick up bags from the fish store and bag the fish as they do at the store, and bag the filter media in the same way to preserve your bio-filter.
