Feeding My Angels

okay my angels love the flakes that i feed them but i was thinking as a gift one in a while is it safe to feed them stuff like lettuce or veg around the house stick to a piece of string weight it down and let them nom on it through out the day? i also have red line barbs and would they be able to eat on the veg too?

They do nibble veg. Mine are partial to a bit of boiled broccoli

lol okay i remember feeding them bloodworms once il had to stick to that then

I find what they love most are forzen meaty foods. There are plenty you can buy from the LFS. One is called 'tropical quartet' and contains 4 different types of frozen food.

Hi everyone, what veg do you recommend?
I read up cucumber is a favourite but my fish did'nt seem fussed by it, although I haven't tried it with my Green Sev yet.

lump of courgette about an inch thick stick a tea spoon in it to stop it floating about the tank my angels love it and if you have any BN in the tank they will demolish whats left...also i have discus in the same tank and i feed them beef heart and the angels just love that to .try also some peas boiled and shelled ...any veg food will do even carrots as long as they have been boiled and peeled ...

kl cheers for that il try that some time see if they go for it my angles are demolishing the flakes i give them they are greedy buggers
