Hi there,
I've got four goldfish, varying between 1 and 2 inches long, and one corydora who is about an inch long, and I've been wondering about how much to actually feed them. Generally, a food label advises you to feed more to your animals so that you will buy more more often. I feed them TetraFin Goldfish Flakes and O.S.I. Shrimp Pellets. The goldfish flakes direct you to "Feed two to three times daily, only as much as your fish can consume in several minutes." The pellets direct you to "... not feed additional pellets if prior feedings have not been consumed completely." I only feed my fish the flakes once daily, and a pellet every other day. To reduce tank cleanings yet keep the fish at a healthy weight, how much should I feed them? I already clean their tank once a week, but lately I'd been treating for ich and followed up with a fungus treatment. They finished their meds yesterday, and I cleaned the tank again today. So now I can go back to my weekly cleanings.
Thanks!
Morgan

First thing corys need to be kept in no less than a group of 3 he will be lonely on his own.
I feed flakes once a day, a variety of frozen foods and veg.
To many dried foods can cause swim bladder which most fancy goldfish can be prone too.
The pellets soak before you add them to the tank.

Cory's are a tropical fish and need to be in a heated tank in groups of 5+ with a sand substrate.

Goldfish prefer cold water, they're not really compatible fish to have in the same tank.

How big is the tank?
