Feeding Fish Vegtables

Hi All,

Does anyone know how to keep a courette to sink so my plecos and bottom feeders can eat it?

I thought it would sink instantly, but it hasnt - can you make a courette sink? or is it always going to float?

dont know what a courette looks like lol
but cucumber is what i feed my fish just either boil it for about 5 mins and then wash it in cold water afterwards.
or you can weight it down with something

Go to the hardware store, get a large stainless steel screw. Screw it through & toss it in. Don't forget to remove the seeds first, they make a horrible mess. I feed the seeds to my dog.

i just use a plant weight,which you can buy at any local pet shop,when my loach is done i scoop it up with a net. hlh donna.
