feeding cucumbers

i just cut a slice rinse it, attache a plant weight and drop it in.

sorry doint keep those fish but my neons, guppys, gouramys, BN plec and apple snail can't wait for cucumber day lol

Nearly all my fish in my community love to eat cucumber and courgette(zucchini).....I use a clip with a sucker that attaches to the side of the tank.

I usually drop zucchini and cucumber slices into boiling water for a few seconds first, just to try to make them sink (usually doesn't work though) and to make them soft enough for my guppies and platies. My bristlenose would eat them raw or cooked, no difference to him.

Of your fish, I doubt the betta would eat any veggies, they're carnivores. Don't know about your other fish, but I understand barbs in general like a bit of greenery now and then, so go ahead and try, see what they think. :)

Actually, most of my bettas love peas. I have a few new ones that are still skeptical though. I have one betta who is ultra picky. He will literally spit pellets back out at me. He loves peas. They were seriously the first food I found he would take (this is like after 2 months).

Heh, that's news to me. None of my bettas ever touched anything even remotely green. ;)
