How do you go about feeding fish cucumber (Cories)

Do you boil the cucumber slice? Or do you just stick it in the tank with a weight?

Thanks

You don't need to boil it first, cucumber is very soft as is. There are several different kind of veggie clips you can use. Or, I've seen someone on here that spears the cucmber w/a fork and drop it in.

just wash, put some plant weights (cheaper than veggie clip or screwcumber), and drop it in the tank.
:good:

just use the leads you get to hold plants down, stick one of them through it and drop it in :good:

lol, the screwcumber sounds like a waste of money!

Cories, plecs and other catfish eat cucumber.
Shrimps eat cucumber, and so do some normal community fish i think?

Gonna try a piece tomorrow. Thanks all

I wash the courgette (mine won't touch cucumber) and sling it in raw, with a stainless steel teaspoon shoved through lengthways nearish to the skin. :D
