Feeding Corys?

Hi All, I just got my 5 corys a few days ago and really like them, love the way they all huddle together like a little family.

My question is about feeding, i'm wondering what's best to ensure they get food as I have top-fish that gobble things quite quickly? Is there a good pellet for these guys that sinks easily? Worried they may starve!

Sinking wafers are great I find. I have the same problem with a shoal of piggy neons

Sinking pellets dropped in at lights out. The cories become MORE active at night. They will find it. I use shrimp pellets and algae wafers for my cories. The top fish peck at them as they fall, but usually once they reach the bottom, they leave them alone.

Tetra Pro colour crisp sinks pretty well and then i put in the often sinking wafer.

Algae wafers are not really an ideal diet for corys. They do eat them, but they dont benefit a lot from them. At least thats what i've read and been told when researching. I generally feed Tetra Prima as its a good all around diet for them along with some other pellets i've found recently (which i believe contain chopped up worm). I've got some wafers that have algae in the middle and something else on the outside, looks like a fried egg. The corys go bananas for the outside bit, but tend to leave the algae part for other fish. I also feed frozen bloodworm, defrosted in warm water, usually two blocks, then all dumped in at the same time. This means a lot of it gets to the bottom quickly. Oh, and chopped up garden worms, not the massive ones just the little ones, but thats not very often cutting them up isnt a very clean job.
