I've had two white spotted catfish (Raphael cats) for about six months and they've grown really quickly and both have huge bellys so I decided to add some more catfish and as I've got a small problem with algae (mainly brown and a little green) I added two bristlenose catfish.

My problem is that whenever I put any food in for the bristlenoses, the raphaels eat it first - sinking tablets, algae wafers, bits of veg, anything!! Even if they don't eat it then my parrot fish or yellow labs do. I'm worried the bristlenoses aren't getting enough food as I never see them eating (only been in there a week). Any suggestions?

Thanks

;) maybe if you try feeding them while u drop some tablets on the side. But I'm quite sure that they are nocturnal so you could try feed them during lights off. ;) (Some one back me up on teh nocturnal bit not 100% sure) I know corries are nocturnal. ;)

No bristlenoses arent strictly nocternal, but the spotted raphaels are.Try feeding the bristlenoses during the day while the raphaels are in their cave/s.
Corys are usually more active by day than night,at least all the ones ive ever seen are.
