Hi,
Couple of questions.....
I've got 6 baby minnows around 7 / 8 weeks old - they're in a tank with 3 Neon Swordtails and 5 adult White Cloud Minnows and currently all the fish are fed on baby brine shrimp around 3 times a week and flake food 2 times a week. I get the feeling however that this is too much so was wondering whether I could cut down without starving the little guys?
They amazingly survived for a few weeks (thought they'd been eaten as I couldn't see them!) when I was on holiday - I just had 5 minnows and left a holiday tetra food block in the tank for the adults. Since the fry survived I guess they do find their own food in the tank?
They are now a bit too big to be considered food - not even by the swordtails who haven't shown much interest in them - so I was wondering about getting some more fish for the tank. What fish would be suitable that wouldn't eat the fry? My pH is around 7.4....
Thanks in advance for any advice
Regards
Phil
