Hi

I've been feeding JBL 1 click now for a few months. When I bought it the assistant informed me that 1 click will actually feed 50 fish and not the 5 it states. My fish have been breeding quite a bit over the last month and I suddenly have an extra 20 or so fish in the aquarium, making about 50. However it seems that it doesn't matter how much I put in they eat it all.

Now I don't know whether the assistant is right or whether to feed more. Please can anyone let me know if they have tried this and how much they feed?

I have a mix of mollys, plattys, guppys, plecs and two catfish. I also occasionally feed cucumber and catfish pellets.

Advice appreciated. - Kez

Fish will eat and eat until it comes straight out the other end, they've no concept of portion control or feeling full! If they can swallow it, down it goes.

As long as your fish look healthy and not emaciated or hollow-bellied, are active, and you're pretty sure everyone is getting a chance at a mouthful, don't worry too much. You're supplementing with other foods as well.

Thanks for your reply - They seem fine really but I've nearly doubled the population and was just a bit worried I'm feeding enough.

I think if I fed them 10 clicks though I'd bury them! It does seem a large portion.
