Featherfin Catfish Has White Scabs

Ok he's bout 7 or 8inches stunning chappy but he's recently developed what looks like a white scab on one side. It's only about cm big and I think he may have had one before which disappeared so I was wondering what it could be. Like a burn or if he caught himself on the wood in the tank maybe??

Yeah, most synos get these . Its the heater, my syno used to burn himself loads too, but i moved the heater out of the way so he couldn't reach it. So yeah, move the heater .

ok thats what i thought but just wanted to check not a lot of places i can move it can I put it up the top horizontally?
