Even though I have sand coloured sand I like black best.

Is it the season for polls?

i personaly like it best when you cant see any gravel at all
but for a contrast between plants and open space i would say white sand apposed to gravel

I've tried colored gravel and then changed over to a more natural pebble looking substrate. I really like sand, when the look (and fish) calls for it.

I love the look of black and white mixed. It looks good done in gravel or sand.
