My favorite is molly fry, especially Balloon Mollies!

Swords. It's the only livebearer fry I've ever had. They are also my favorite livebearers.

I currently have 9 fry (about 2.5 monthes).
Mama is a orange neon/wag.

I only have guppies lol but the Platy Fry is so cute...

I have 64 fry right now... 23 are a month old, 29 fry are a week old, and 12 are new borns .....

23 fry and 29 fry are from the same mom who I no longer have because of my stupidness of putting a new fish in the tank even though it had no signs of having anything killed 4 males 2 females from Ick , fin rot , and some hole in their sides ...

I'm left with all the babies and 2 females that are pregnant.... and being treated...


I love my little babies so I'm going with guppies lol

Guppy Fry!!!

Well...I have Mollies, Guppies and Swordtails....and right now I have one 5 week old orange swordtail...SO CUTE!! I also have a week old guppie...a two day old guppie and 13 two day old pearl scale swordtail fry!!!

Since the only fry I've seen grown up is my 5 week old swordtail baby I'm gonna have to go with swordtails!! But I am sure once I see my guppie fry grow up they will be about even

I've had a lot more guppy fry than anything, and my Balloon-Bellied molly fry were awfully cute, but Swordtail fry are SO colorful--I'd have to go with swords. I presently have one that is a Marigold/Red Wag mix. He isn't red like a Red wag, but he is a brighter, more vivid orange than the Marigolds with a pitch-black tail. He is about the size of a guppy now, and beginning to grow a sword!!

depends on wat ur into, if ur just into like watchin then grow then maybe plattys or swords are more of ur thing but if u like playing around and mix matching thir color and fin typs to get even cooler lookin fish then maybe mollys and guppys would be neater.

Interesting thoughts GuppyGude, but I would have to argue that guppy fry are most exciting to watch grow up . With platies, mollies, swordtail, some are born with definite colour that they will just grow into. As for guppies, they're all born with the same appearance which leavesyou guessing. But after a month goes by you start seeing colour on some of their tails show, then another month goes by and some start getting leopard patterns on their body, 3months goes by you can easily tell males and females and the variety of colours and patterns.

i have had guppy fry and mollie fry and i would have to say i most deffinitly like my mollie fry much better, its too bad that when my 1st female had her 1st batch i only had 1 tank set up and all my fry were eaten byb my male mollie, but now i have 2 tanks set up and i am expecting fry from both my females within the nest 2 or 3 weeks i cant wait to see them
