Fat Or Very Pregnant Platy... Diet?

i have a female platy who seems a little oversized than normal, shes pregnant, and she does seem to be an agressive eater she sput on ALOT of weight, its not bloat b/c shes swimming fine, what should i do about her umm, large problem i belive shes somewhat pregnant(2 weeks in) i now see a darkened area where hew woumbish area is(babies maybe) i dont know if shes just pregnant or fat and pregnant it will be much harder to tell now...

I don't think it really matters... make sure the other fish are getting enough food, and don't feed too much.

Yeah, but not too fat or else it will cause a condition known as fatty degeneration. Fish affected by this condition lose the ability to produce eggs or sperm. Therefore they cannot reproduce.

This happens to people too.

The platy is probably just pregnant. Sometimes they look really really fat. You should see my goodeids when they are pregnant they look like a balloon about to pop! Check her dark spot and see if you can see the babies inside, sometimes you can see little eyes looking back at you! When she is ready to give birth thats when you can see the eyes looking out.

all i see is a patch of darkness its impossible to see her babies(shes dark red) she had fry a few weeks ago though
