I have 2 Black widows in my tank and they are both really fat, I know they lay eggs but they have been fat for about 4 weeks now and im gettin a bit worried, they look abnormal.

What size tank are they in, do you have a filter and heater, did you cycle the tank, what other fish are in the tank and how many? Most of my black tetras look fat and I first thought it was constipation, so I skipped feeding them for a couple days, I tried deshelled peas but that didn't work. So I ruled that I feed them alot and they are just lazy and fat. How much and how many times a day do you feed them?

Im not sure of the exact size of the tank but its 4ft wide and 2ft high, Ive had the tank for a few months so the water is ok. Ive got angels, platies, mollies, serpae tetra, gouramies, butterfly fish and clown loach. I feed them twice a day but I sometimes feed them other things like veg and prawns. I dont have alot of plants in the tank, 3 large ones and 3 large rocks and a big piece of wood. could this be the reason they are not laying eggs? Also could you give me your guess on how many liters my tank has as I dont have a clue. I do have a filter and heater, everything came with the tank. Thanks Roxanne :look:
