Fat Banjo

I noticed a few weeks ago that my banjo catfish had gotten awfully chubby. I've seperated him along with a cherry barb who also looked very chubby into a tank as fear of some kind of internal infection.

My water stats are:

Ammonia: 0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 40
ph: 7

It is an established tank.

Are banjos known for eating a lot as I've seen a few pictures of other chubby ones. Should I be worried?

Might be just constipation what do you feed the fish.
Epson salt bath to help draw the fluid out, and shelled peas.
