Until my new tank is cycled what fast growing stems could I introduce to help get rid of the occasional reading of 0.25ppm ammonia? My 95 litre is a little over stocked but some will be moved to my 48 litre once its finished cycling so I don't really want to get rid of any fish if it can be helped. I only get the faint reading of ammonia now an again which I normally follow up with a water change but I want it to be as stable as possible. The filter is established and has been after about 6 months, I just think its the sheer number of fish that is causing me this small problem.
The tank is already moderately planted but contains more slower growing plants than anything such as anubias and HC cuba.
