Right, just decided to check to see how much ammonia I needed to add to get the recommended 5-6ppm mixture.

Using a 2 Gallon bucket, I added 1ml of Ammonia, then tested the water. It went to around 9 or 10 ppm.

So, I decided to half the ammonia (0.5ml) and test again to be sure, its somewhere roundabout the 6ppm, not too easy to check from the colour chart.
The ammonia in question is 9.5%

I've been using Homebase "household" ammonia to cycle a tank. I've found that 10 drops gives me approx 5ppm on a 7gal tank. Homebase ammonia is also 9.5%.

So for my 29 gallon i need aproximetely 7ml (I hope thats right!)
