It's apparently filmed in malaysia, maybe an archer expert could pin down what species it might be?

I'm no expert but I think it's a Toxotes jaculatrix as they are very common

to me i t does look like Toxotes jaculatrix.. as you said they are the most common; they were what i had if you want to check some more closser pics i put some up of my archers when i had some:

There's a few so look about at my others.
i reccomend Archers to anyone; unfortunately i had to give mine away as i could no longer look afte them; i got my GCSE's comming up. it was a sad day.

Oh no, sorry to hear that.

I've got a pair of archers now that I presume are microlepis, I'm actually looking out for jaculatrix because I really want to do a high brackish tank...

The ones I have I've had for a couple of weeks now. They're in a 75g currently half filled. They're young, but spit already.

If i can find jaculatrix, I might need to rehome them, as I'm really after high salinity fish...
