Fancy Guppies - small or large tank??

I was thinking of getting a few fancy guppies for my 5.5 gallon tank but then i was wondering how they would do in a smaller one....like a 1 gallon tank with an undergravel filter for example. i would only get one or two ...i just think they are pretty.

I'd only add two males, not females. This'll be a precaution against pregnancies. However, I wouldn't recommend it unless you were willing to do frequent water changes.

I think that the guppies, if they are still small, will do fine in a 1 gallon tank, provided it has good filtration. Once they get rambunctios and are banginf themselves into the side of the tank, then move them to a larger tank.
