Yes, I agreed. A 30-gallon tank is needed for 3 F8s. That is exactly my setup.
My F8s don't fight except when it is feeding time. Even when they do, they seem to bump each other instead of biting. I guess my heavily planted tank help a bit. I can't say the same of how my F8s treat other species though. One of my BB Gobies insisted of taking a spot favor by one of my F8s near the heater. It literally got shredded, lost the tail, one hole on each side of his body. My other BB Goby is smart enough to stay away from my F8s' territories and the F8s pay no attention to it at all.
F8s love to punch holes in plants. My Corkscrew Vails and Java Ferns are full of holes. People said Anubias is more resistance because they have thicker leaves. I never try them myself though.
