Everybody says that when a livebearer is about to give birth you can see the fry's eyes pressed against the females stomach.

Where abouts on the stomach are they visible?

Are they hard to spot?

How big are the eyes? :dunno:

I haven't bred guppys, but I do believe you can see the fry eyes.

The eyes were very visable in my swordtail and you could see them moving just before they came out. They were just behind the stomach right above the anal fin.

I'd had a few pregnant guppied, they get fat and have a really dark spot on their lower body right near their anal fin.

Also don't stress out your fish when you start to see the gravid spot, i had to transport my fish for christmas and two of them were pregnant but they aborted the pregnancies because of the stress :(

Poor thing that awful.

Lol and now ones pregnant again i have to move them again, geez :-(
