Eye Torn Out

a small cory had an eye torn out a few minutes ago.

Should I hospitalize it?

Does it need antibiotics?

Did a fish do it, or catch it on something, can you explain more.
Melafix for the eye to stop it getting infected.
What are your water stats in ammonia,nitrite,nitrate,and ph.

My fault. I changed my small JD's into a tank heavy planted and I missed this one. They thought he was dinner.

All water stats are fine.

I can isolate this one in the tank I took the JD's from.

I have maracyn on hand.

Bless him, issolate him then and add the maracyn, don't forget to increase aeration in the tank.

I think I read about others who had a fish lose an eye.

How did they do? Right now this little bronze cory is traumatized.

The stress could kill him more than anything bless him.
Move him and let him settle down with the lights off.
