Eye Less Fish!

I bought 2 3" pangassius catfish yesterday and within 1 hour their eyes had been eaten by another fish!
has anyone ever heard of this before?

What's the fish called that ate our the eyes? I know Chinese Algae Eaters sometimes suck out the eyeballs, but besides that I haven't heard of any fish doing it

However, I'm a bit concerned about you recent purchase. Are you aware of the fact that pangasius catfish will get massive and can reach the 52" mark?

We have an apollo shark I think this was the culprit.
I'm aware how big they get we have 2 @ 7 inch in a 100 gallon tank so plenty of room yet.

Sorry that's awful, need full fish stock of tank of how many and which kind, plus how many gallons is the tank or litres.

Ive got two oscars in a 125 would getting two of these guys be a problem? Would the oscars try to eat them i would like to put something more then the two oscars as of now it seems like a waste of space they are only about 5-6 inchs each.

Yup. Oscars will normally eat fish smaller than them

It won't be long before the oscars hit 12", and Pangasius Catfish hits 36". You could hope that keeping the catfish in a 125 gallon would stunt it's growth and may be grow to only 18". But then again, may be not.
