i have an aqua one aquis 1050 advanced external filter up for grabs. its about 18 months old and in great working order. it comes complete with everything needed to set it up except media. i bought this new and used it on a cory tank for about 10 months, then stored it in case i needed a spare in an emergency. its still boxed and in great condition apart from one of the corners has a small bit of plastic missing that snapped off. this doesnt effect the filter in any way but i have to mention it as it is slightly damaged on this corner.

i also will have a Rena XP3 for sale when i get my new tank on september 6th. this tank isnt as old as the aqua one filter and im sure its still under warrenty if i can find the receipt.... again its in its original box and comes with everything needed to get it up and running except media as i will need this transfered onto my new tank. these really are cracking filters that run very quietly. its in superb condition and is still being used until the 6th on another tank so it cant go until then.

im open to sensible offers on these filters as i will need them gone. i would prefer collection but can send at the buyers expense if needed. im located in south leicestershire close to the M1, M69 and M6 for anyone thinking of collecting.

its rated at 1250 lph for tanks of a volume of 200-350 litres according to the aqua one website.

hi mate, interested in the xp3. i live 10 mins from foss park down the m69 (burbage).

would you take £50 collected? i'm on my hols until the end of august, i also have my new tank on order which should be ready by then so timing will be perfect.

not far at all! i would not mind seeing it before you unplug it (see it in action so to speak) if thats possible.

i've read really conflicting reports about noise, some say its silent, others say its really noisy. my wife will kill me if i bring another noisy filter home!!

yeah no problem. i have 2 running on my tank and can hardly hear them at all. you will have to excuse the tank as its a bit of a mess at the minute as its been used as a grow out tank but your more than welcome to come and listen to them

when you say 'no media' for the Aqua One, does that mean there's no sponges as well?

Any idea what length the pipes are on it?

Hi mate. it comes with sponges just not ceramics etc the pipes arent huge as i had it running on a low down cory breeding tank but pipes are only a few squid and if it were me i would get new pipe anyway tbh.
