Expecting Fry

i bred my bettas for the second time lucky as the first time the eggs were not fertilised but last night as my female was in the vase next to the male tank she started releasing eggs. i orrigianaly was going to leave her in there for another few days but since she was showing all the conditioning signs i decided to put her in and within 10 minites the male had her. but what was unusual was the male wasnt getting the eggs as they fell the female was then she went up to the bubble nest and put them in. my male has 2 bubble nests 1 on the front side of the tank and one inside a plantpot. he is gaurding the one around the plantpot and the few eggs what were in the buble nest at the front are gone so either he has ate them or he has moved them im hoping he has moved them which i think he has done. anyways they shuld be hatching around 11pm UK time or sometime in the morning.
one question. when i am going to mash up egg yolk how much boiled egg yolk shiould i used to add with water.
any tips would be nice

iv never used egg york heard some people on here say its to messy

oooh what did the mum and dad look like? Personally I would feed live foods like bbs and vinegar eels as they are less messy then egg yolk and the babies will be getting all the protien they need. I'm sure someone on here will know whether to mix it with water or what to do

the male is a lovely red with blue/ purple streaks on its dorsal fin and it is a crowntail and the female is like a darkish purpleish blueish and shes prety torn up but isnt stressed or nothing shes back into her conditioning/quarantine tank where she can rest in peace lol. thanks for the tip. i wil be feeding BBS but vinegar eels are pretty hard to get hold of here and i mean realy hard so im just going to stick with the BBS and liquifry no1.
any more tips on what to do next would be great
