Expanding to 50g tank - would my stand support it?

Hello guys! I currently have a 10g tank and want to expand to a 50g. However, I am worried whether my entertainment stand would support it. I also live in an apartment on ground floor. We have regular carpet floor, however; our new apartment when we move will have wooden flooring. My entertainment stand is attached.

That stand looks like it’s made of chipboard. I would be very surprised if it could hold a fifty gallon tank which is going to weigh around 500 pounds, not including substrate or equipment. That’s just the tank and water. You can build one out of cinder block for about twenty dollars though. I wrapped a piece of fabric around mine to make it look cuter.
