Ex1200 Tetratec Bio Balls

Hey all, im currently in the process of seeding a new tetratec 1200 external filter and in doing so have transferred all of my media from my old filter into the external. The only problem being Ive had to remove all of the bioballs in the external as there was no room anywhere else for the old media.

I've removed the bioballs.

Could this cause any problems?

Any advice welcome!
