- My remaining frog is still alive

- Some people are interested in my mollie fry AND the remaining mollies i have
- The mollie fry are getting they're colours slowly... (lil black patches  )

You should be able to keep a few ghost shrimp with those fish.

what in a 5gal too? em.. how big do they grow?
They stay small (1 - 1.5"). They are also great little scavengers.

I've kept them with bettas before, with mixed results. Some of my bettas kill them, some don't. It depends on the fish.

I haven't kept them with ADFs, but I'm about to attempt to. The only problem is the ADFs eyesight is very poor, and the shrimp could be mistaken for food. -_-

Your best bet to keep them alive is to keep them in a heavily planted tank. They love to hide in java moss, hornworth, and other clumps of live plants.

If your going to be treating your mollies for fungus, I would hold off putting shrimp in that tank. I'm not sure how they would do with meds in the tank. :/

Hm, Ive never kept cories and mollies together before, but I understand mollies like some salt in the water while cories can't tolerate any. If I'm right, there may be no way to keep both species healthy in the same tank.

Could this be causing your problems?

ah ok :)

Good luck with your shrimp if you get them.

Hint of advice, if the ghost shrimp eat food with colour enhancers, they may get pigment splotches on their shells... I found that out the hard way :)

In the first tank I had - which was a tropical community I kept both Mollies and Cories successfully. All of 'em were happy and loved the tank. I know Mollies *liked* a bit of salt, but they did just fine in complete freshwater.
