ive had bad fish luck. a few years ago i had gold fish, i lost about 30 through swimblader problems. a few months ago i got a biorb 30 liters which i left for a few weeks befor adding new fish, i added some neons after 3 or so weeks when the water tests had been stable for a week or so. i added a new fish every so often never adding to many, any way soon they started dieing, i had a beta fighing fish for about 6 weeks then sudenly i found it with no fins and fin rot (in treatment for other fish as of tomorow), well it died 3 days ago along with a new fishy who got traped under a rock....... well i came home from school to find one my neon tetras (first to be added) with no tail fin and its back (end) was orrage, its missing arond wost of its tail area (i think it was week and got attacked0.

i seperated it ASAP but its not going to live long,it just flotes about and ive never been able to "kill" a fish, and i cant pull myself around to doing any of the realy kind one (alchole, and very quick tempreturechang).

welll my point is, is putting the dieing fish in a small amount of water with little air crule. because ive read that when the oxygen runs low in the watter the fish will pass out later causing death.
if this is crule plz post back ASAP, i would never intentionly hurt my fish when trying to help it :-(
anyway thank you for anyhelp given, i shall take all advise if i am wrong instantly, if alchole is the best way my dad said he would do it for me :-( .

again thank you for any help

Clove oil.
This other method is not for coldwater fish.
Very cold water then add icecubes till it looks freezed over, place the fish in the water, it dosn't take long.

I would only end a fish life if its weak and you no the fish dosn't stand a chance of getting better, and its had enough which you can tell.
Good luck.
