we wouldnt really get any more points even if we did have a good song, as timmystood said, the rest of europe hates us.
The winners are basically decided beforehand as its all based on politics and which country likes which, all the countries vote for their neighbouring countries (as long as they like each other) so because we dont have any neighbouring countries plus the fact everyone hates us then we could have the best song in the world and still be at the bottom of the table.

I dont watch it because its just turned into a big scam and its not about the music at all anymore.

I used to watch it years ago but now it's a complete waste of time. Like you said, no matter how good song we have, we will never win it. Although, the song this year was terrible!

We always watched it when I was a kid, but of course back in those days, there was no cable or satellite here so everyone watched the same programs and we all watched whatever was on.

I watched it a few times a few years ago - if you put the subtitles on, they are in English and they translate the song as the contestant sings it. I loved reading what the songs were really about. But I don't watch it now, and I didn't hear the entry, but you can bet it wasn't something I'd have chosen to enter.

Now Bucks Fizz - that was a real "pop" catchy song, that deserved to win. When I think of some of the entries over the years, some of them have been great records, (What's another year?) but the past few years you are like "what the...?" when you catch a snippet of it on the Beeb.

I think our song was painfully entertaining, had me and my mates up doing the dance. "were flyin the flag all over the world, flyin the flag for uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu" "your exits are here, here and here" and the best bit "would you like something to suck on why were landing sir". Come on, lighten up were never gonna win so we might as well loose properly, its so mega camp.

i dont think the uk was as bad as every1 made out but it was still crap
russia and ukraine were the best
